Sea of Galilee

The Galilee is the home of Jesus and some of Judaism’s greatest figures. Here Jesus was raised. Here he started his ministry, and here he performed wonders. Here are the tombs of the Rambam, Rabbi Meir, Rabbi Akiva, and Yochanan Ben Zakai. Here,  the Sanhedrin sat after Jerusalem’s destruction.  Take a boat out on the waters upon which Jesus walked, or explore Israel’s most stunning scenery.  The Galilee is a destination that should be on every itinerary, Christian, Jewish, historic, nature based, and everything in between
