Central Shule Mission - 12 May 2024 - 19 May 2024 - Terms and Conditions

Introduction:

  1. Thank you for choosing to purchase a place or places on the upcoming tour to Israel known as the “Central Shule Solidarity Mission” (the “Tour”) which will take place from 12 May 2024 until 19 May 2024. By purchasing a place or places on this tour, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below, which are intended to be binding under the laws of the State of Israel.

Operative Terms

  1. In this document, unless the context requires otherwise:

Deposit means the amount of USD 700.00 plus a fee of 3.5% if you choose to pay by credit card;

Final Payment Date means the day that is 45 days before the start of your tour or, if there are less than 45 days or less before the start of the Tour on the day on which you purchase a place or places on the Tour, the first calendar day after the day on which you purchase a place or places on the Tour;

Tour Price means $4595, plus any single supplement which you select to purchase, and a fee of 3.5% if you choose to pay by credit card;

Tour Program means the schedule displayed on the page of our website dedicated to the Tour, to which we may make reasonable amendments;

References to times, days and dates are to that time and those days and dates in Israel;

Headings are for convenience only and do not otherwise affect the interpretation of these terms;

Reference to the singular includes the plural and vice versa;

Reference to one gender includes all other genders;

A reference to “$” or “dollars” is to United States currency.

  1. In consideration of you paying us the Tour Price for each tour place for which you register,  and doing so in full and on time (time being of the essence) in accordance with clause 3, we agree to provide a place on the Tour for each person for whom you have purchased a place on the Tour may participate on the Tour.  
  1. You agree to pay the Tour Price for each place for which you register as follows:

(a) By paying the Deposit on or before 11:59 PM on the calendar day after the day on which you register; and

(b) By paying the remainder of the Tour Price for each place for which you have registered on or before 11:59pm on the Final Payment Date.

  1. You acknowledge that the Deposit will not be refundable except at our discretion.
  2. Subject to clause 4, you may withdraw from the Tour any time before the Final Payment Date. If you do so, we will refund any part of the Tour Price that you have paid, less the Deposit and any actual transaction fees that we incur.
  3. We will endeavor to assist in ensuring that all tour participants receive visas to enter the State of Israel, but will not be liable for failing to do so. We will not be obligated to refund amounts paid because of a failure to obtain a visa (other than as otherwise stated in this document).
  4. If the total number of paying tour participants falls below 15 or if a minimum of 15 paying participants do not register for the Tour, we may (at our absolute Discretion) cancel the tour. If this occurs, we will refund all amounts received from you, but will not incur liability in relation to flights, insurance or other costs that you have incurred.
  5. We may alter the Tour Program at our discretion due to security, weather or other relevant considerations.
  6. If we determine that the Tour cannot reasonably proceed for security reasons, we may cancel the Tour and refund you any amount that you have paid, less actual costs incurred by us in relation to hotels and service providers. We will use our best endeavors to ensure that all such costs are refunded in full.
  7. You acknowledge that there are certain inherent risks in overseas travel including but not limited to illness, accident, natural disasters, crime, terrorism, political violence, motor vehicle accidents, food poisoning, and acts of God. To the extent permitted by law, you release us from all liability in relation to loss occurred as a result of such inherent risk.
  8. You acknowledge that we are not liable for property stored in hotels during the tour, or for damage to goods placed on a tour bus as a result of any accident. To the extent permitted by law, you release us from such liability.
  9. These terms may only be amended by mutual agreement between the parties in writing.
  10. A claim under these terms may only be bought in the courts and tribunals of the State of Israel.
  11. If any provision of this document is illegal or unenforceable, it will be severed to the minimum extent required by law.
