5 Day Christian Essentials Package
Day 1 - The Holy Week
This morning you will visit the Mount of Olives where Jesus spent much of the final week before the crucifixion. You will see the site at which Jesus taught the Lord’s prayer, the site from which Jesus wept while looking on the corrupt city, the Garden of Gethsemane where Jesus was betrayed and arrested, the tomb of the Virgin Mary, and the Church of the Ascension from which Jesus is believed to have ascended to heaven, 40 days after the ressurrection.
You will then enter the Old City and visit the site of the trial of Jesus, before walking the path that Jesus took to the site of crucifixion. You will see the rock of Golgotha and tomb of Jesus.
Day 2 - Bringing the Bible to life
Today you will continue touring the Old City of Jerusalem. You will see the Jaffa Gate, the Tower of David, the room of the Last Supper, the Tomb of King David, the broadwall built by King Hezekiah as described in the book of Isaiah, the Hurva Synagogue, and the Western (Wailing) Wall. You will also visit the City of David where you will see the Siloam Pool where Jesus is believed to have healed a blind man, and what many archaeologists believe are the remains of David’s palace.
Day 3 - Galilee - Home of Christ
Today you will travel north to the Galilee, seeing Kfar Kana where Jesus turned water into wine, before arriving at Capernaum, where Jesus is believed to have based His ministry, and where Peter lived. You will see the ancient synagogue and get up close to touch the water on which Jesus walked. Afterwards, you will visit the site of the miracle of the fishes and the loaves, the site of the sermon on the mount, and the Jordan River Baptismal site.
Later you will then travel to Nazareth where you will see where Jesus was raised, including touring the Basilica of the Annunciation which marks where Mary learnt of her forthcoming pregnancy.
In the evening you will return to Jerusalem.

Day 4 - Jewels of the Desert
Today you will travel into the Judean desert, passing the Inn of the Good Samaritan and Qumran where the Essenes lived. Your first stop will be Herod the Great’s mountain top fortress of Masada. You will see Herod’s palace suspended down the mountain side, the store rooms, the Roman encampment, the bathhouse, the ancient synagogue, the store rooms and the room of lots. You will also hear of the Jewish rebels’ heroism.
In the afternoon you will enjoy the unique sensation of floating on water at the beautiful Dead Sea
Day 5 - Little town of Bethlehem
In the afternoon you will visit the Israel Museum to see the Dead Sea Scrolls and numerous biblical artifacts. We will then provide a complimentary transfer to your hotel or to Ben Gurion International Airport for departure. Bon voyage!
